The Second Annual James W. Bokenkamp Golf Outing and Banquet

The The Second Annual James W. Bokenkamp Golf Outing and Banquet was a tremendous success.  The weather was perfect (unlike last year!), and the banquet was lots of fun. To see pictures, click here.  The Burbank Lions would like to thank Chris Hunger for being the DJ at the party!  We'd also like to thank the guests for purchasing the raffle tickets.  We gave away more than 45 gifts at the banquet.  Please visit the businesses that sponsored this event.  They can be found by clicking here.  We'd be remiss if we didn't mention Lions John and Christine Gawel for the tremendous effort they put into this.  We also need to recognize the efforts of Lions John Coleman, Bob Mocek, John Lonoski, Matt Leison, Wayne Headtke, Larry Horn, Chris Coleman, and John Young.

Lions Candy Day

James W. Bokenkamp Memorial Golf Outing and Banquet

In June of 2006, we had our first annual James Bokenkamp Memorial Golf Outing. Lion Jim was the superintendent of Burbank School District and Burbank Lions Club member. Although the golf part was rained out, the banquet was a huge success and we were able to raise money for some worthy benefits. The holes were sponsored by many local businesses. Donations were given for raffle. All in all, the evening was a huge success. Here are a few pictures of attendees who won some of the gifts.
